CHARLOTTE, NC (October 12, 2026) – The 8th Annual Harvick4Heroes PGA REACH Charity Pro-Am, presented by SoundGear, returned to Trump National Golf Club in Charlotte on Monday, October 12, bringing together community leaders, sports figures, and golf professionals for competition and philanthropy. Featuring a sold-out field of 22 teams, comprising 88 amateur golfers and 22 PGA Professionals, the 2026 event pushed total funds raised since its 2018 inception past $1.9 million. This year’s net and gross shamble-format tournament raised over $400,000 through entry fees, corporate sponsorships, and an extensive online and live auction. Proceeds directly benefit both the Kevin Harvick Foundation and the PGA REACH Carolinas Foundation, funding programs designed to improve lives through the game of golf with a specific focus on Youth, Military, and Inclusion. The 2026 event carried special significance as the field celebrated Kevin Harvick, who will be inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2027 this January in Charlotte. "The Harvick4Heroes Pro-Am has become one of the most meaningful days on our calendar," said Jeff Avant, PGA, President of the Carolinas PGA. "To see our PGA Professionals, partners, and community show up like this for Veterans and youth golf is special. On behalf of the Carolinas PGA, thank you to Kevin and the Kevin Harvick Foundation, and congratulations to Kevin on a well-deserved Hall of Fame honor." For Kevin, the focus remains squarely on the cause. "This day has never been about the golf," said Harvick. "It's about the Veterans in the PGA HOPE program and the kids who are getting a chance to fall in love with this game. We're so grateful to the PGA REACH Carolinas Foundation, Trump National, SoundGear and all of our partners, as well as everyone who came out to make this year such a success." Participants began the morning with premium tee gift packages featuring TITE Eyewear sunglasses and hats, Dunning hoodies, Srixon golf balls, and custom YETI tumblers courtesy of the Kevin Harvick Foundation. On-course activations kept the energy high throughout the 18-hole event, including a Tito’s Handmade Vodka station on the 14th tee serving signature cocktails and a Putting Green contest hosted by the Kevin Harvick Foundation. The heart of the event remained centered on service and community. Local PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) Veterans and PGA REACH staff greeted players at the featured 7th hole, where golfers competed for a custom E-Z-GO Golf Cart awarded for a Hole-in-One. Following tournament play, competitors and guests gathered on the back lawn overlooking the 18th green for a post-round reception. Attendees bid on exclusive live auction packages, including a "Taste of Louisville" package, a Charlotte golf experience, and an E-Z-GO Golf Cart. Top teams received autographed die-cast racing cars signed by Kevin Harvick. On the course, Nitro Motorsports, led by PGA Professional Kris Cappuzzo, PGA, alongside amateurs Jonathan Duvall, Mamba Smith, Steve Vanderink, and Jonathon Jones, took top honors with a tournament-winning score of -27.
