COWBOY CERRONE SUPPORTS KHF WITH PBR BULL

PUEBLO, Colo. ― MMA fighter Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone's has had a string of successes in the Octagon. He's hoping his winning ways will continue in Las Vegas next month at UFC 167.
But this week, the battle he's looking forward to in Sin City involves bucking bulls.
"I love going to the PBR World Finals," said Cerrone. "When I had the chance to get involved by owning a bull with Back Seat Buckers, I thought it'd be awesome to be a part of something I'm a big fan of."
Don't Tell Dana, Cerrone's Back Seat Buckers bull, will be competing at the World Finals for a $100,000 first-place prize purse. Any money Don't Tell Dana wins will be donated to The Kevin Harvick Foundation. The Kevin Harvick Foundation was established by its namesake NASCAR star and his wife DeLana in 2010. The mission of the Kevin Harvick Foundation is to support programs that positively enrich the lives of children throughout the U.S. The Kevin Harvick Foundation works to not only improve the quality of life, but to help underprivileged youth find and realize their dreams.
Cerrone, a former bull rider and long-time PBR fan, wanted to become even more involved in the sport of bull riding and decided to become a stock contractor. Back Seat Buckers turnkey bull ownership program was the perfect opportunity for him and he seized the chance to be able to give back to the community through his bull's success. At the final regular event of the season, Don't Tell Dana finished in the Top 10. A donation of over $1,800 was made on Cerrone's behalf to The Kevin Harvick Foundation. If Don't Tell Dana can win in Las Vegas, he will earn over 50 times that amount for the organization.
The bull - his name is a tongue-in-check acknowledgement of UFC President Dana White's disapproval of Cerrone's passion for dangerous cowboy sports - has been maturing and developing as an athlete as the season has progressed and should be a contender for first place in Las Vegas.
The Back Seat Buckers bulls will compete at the South Point Equestrian Center on Tuesday, the event is free and open to the public. The Top five scoring bulls will go on to buck in a championship round during the PBR World Finals at Thomas and Mack on Friday. Cerrone is hoping Don't Tell Dana will put on his best performance yet. A gold buckle would be a nice addition to Cerrone's growing case of trophies.
