Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Partners With KHF, Presents Donation

Ollie’s collects in-store donations for the Kevin Harvick Foundation and promotes the Foundation with a “Yellow Out” at Dover International Speedway
HARRISBURG, Pa. – Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and the Kevin Harvick Foundation (KHF) partnered together for a special promotion at Dover International Speedway on Sunday, June 3, during the FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.
Ollie’s customers who purchased “bargain” priced race tickets at any Ollie’s store location had the opportunity to donate to KHF which supports programs that positively enrich the lives of children throughout the United States. Before Sunday’s race, during a special presentation, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet President and CEO Mark Butler presented a ceremonial check to Kevin Harvick, co-founder of KHF with wife DeLana, representing a donation from the in-store fundraising program in the amount of $58,776.
Ollie’s Bargain Outlet ticket holders participated in a “yellow out” at the race by wearing a free KHF/Ollie’s Racing t-shirt. Participants had the chance to instantly win valuable prizes totaling $6,000. The grand prize was a $2,900 gift card to Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in support of No. 29 driver Kevin Harvick who took 2nd place overall in Sunday’s race.
The partnership between Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and the Kevin Harvick Foundation also included a “Kevin’s Krew” on-site event for the children of the Boys & Girls Club of Dover Air Force Base on June 2, 2012, at Dover International Speedway.
